Lure Compass

Helping you find where
to fish and who to fish with

Browse fishing listings

At Lure Compass we believe planning a day on the water should be simple and transparent. Whether you're booking an inshore charter, scouting a public shore spot, finding a pier, a local tackle shop, a guide or a boat ramp - we help you compare fishing charters, spots and businesses near you, ranked by reviews, and contact them directly.

Our story

Lure Compass started from a simple frustration - finding a good place to fish and a captain or guide you can trust is harder than it should be. Listings scattered across dozens of sites, unclear pricing, reviews you can't trust. We set out to fix it - to build one place where every charter, spot and shop is organized by category and city, with real info so you can choose where to fish with confidence.

Why us

What you get with Lure Compass

Whether you're booking your first charter or looking for a new spot close to home, we connect you with the operator or place that actually fits how you want to fish.

Every listing in one place

Compare charters, spots, piers, tackle shops, guides and marinas by category, price and rating across the US - no more clicking through ten tabs.

Real details & pricing

See what each charter or guide offers and what a trip typically costs - inshore half-days around $400-600, offshore full-days often $1,000-2,000, usually priced per boat.

Ranked by reviews

Each listing's info is checked, and Google ratings are front and center so you can pick an operator with confidence.

Our mission

Making it easy to find
where to fish

More people than ever are getting out on the water, but finding the right charter, spot or shop is still scattered and opaque. Our mission is to bring clarity - organize every charter, public spot, pier, tackle shop, guide and marina by category and city, surface honest pricing and Google reviews, and let you reach out directly. No booking fees, no middleman, just a clear path to a great day of fishing.

Our methodology

How we rank listings & write our guides

How we rank. Listings are ordered by Google review volume and rating, so the most established, well-reviewed operators and places surface first. We do not accept payment to rank a listing higher in organic results; any paid placements are clearly labeled.

How we verify. Listing details are compiled from publicly available sources and the operator's own website, and reviewed by our editorial team. Business owners can claim and update their listing, and we review changes before they go live.

Pricing. Prices on this site are typical US ranges for general guidance, not quotes. Charters are usually priced per boat and split among the group, and guides typically run about $300-600 per day - always confirm current pricing and availability directly with the operator. Public spots, piers and boat ramps are often free or low cost, and a state fishing license is required almost everywhere.

An independent directory. Lure Compass is an independent directory; we are not affiliated with, do not own and do not endorse the businesses listed. Listings are informational - confirm trip details, pricing and availability directly with each operator before you book.
